Day old feeder quail: 8-17 grams and perfect for a whole food natural diet for many animals. They are CO2 culled in an airtight chamber where they peacefully fall asleep and do not wake back up. This is widely held as by far the most humane method for culling animals. It also results in a very clean and more appealing product for both animal owner and the animal that consumes them. They are weighed on a very accurate scale and vacuum sealed and then frozen in just a few minutes to guarantee freshness. Typically in packs of 25 or 50. Big online retailers who often deliver thawed old product of questionable freshness charge $1.50-$2.50 per chick as of November 2024. We have a sale on them now as we need more freezer space!
